Acoustic instruments can be played quietly before then, such as guitars etc. Noisy visitors who disturb other guests will be asked politely to leave, without refund.

Noise must be kept to a reasonable level at all times and there must be no noise or vehicle movements between 10.00pm and 7.30am

Children should be at their pitch and not be running around or noisy after 9.30pm

No excessive alcohol to be consumed on site and if returning from the pub later, to do so quietly so as not to disturb other campers and neighbours who live near the field.

Do not leave any food waste in the sinks provided if using and leave them in a clean condition. The sinks are checked/cleaned once in the morning and nobody wants to find your food waste in the sink!

Campfires and Fire Safety

Campfires are only permitted in fire pits raised off the ground. Campfires must be supervised by a responsible adult, never left unattended and must be fully extinguished with water before going to sleep. Please do not place fire pits too close to your tent and do not light a fire if it is too windy. In the event of any dangerous or non-intended fire, there are fire extinguishers and fire bucket with sand on the side of the facilities block. Do not attempt to place yourself in danger and call 999 if in doubt. Never dispose of ash in hedges as this can start a fire.

Children

Children are the responsibility of their parents or guardians at all times. It is particularly important that you always know where your children are and that you provide adequate supervision for them at all times. Please do not have children running around or being noisy in the field after 9.30pm. We allow campfires in raised fire pits, so again, make sure children are supervised around all fires. East Prawle Camping Stephens Field accepts no responsibility for any personal injury incurred on site. No kite flying – over-head cables in parts of the field.

Recycling & Rubbish

A condition of camping here is that you recycle your rubbish. That means separating waste into the glass bin and general recycling bin (cans, plastic, paper, cardboard etc.) What is left, i.e. only items that are not recyclable, can be placed in the landfill bin. Dumping of broken camping equipment is not permitted.
Please ensure your rubbish cannot litter the field, and leave your pitch clear of any belongings/rubbish when you leave.

 All vehicles

The speed limit while on the site is 2 mph. Please drive responsibly and take care near children. No vehicles to leave or enter the field between 10pm-7.30am unless in an emergency.

Smoking

The facilities areas are strictly NO SMOKING. If you do smoke, please dispose of cigarette ends carefully in a bin, making sure it is extinguished.

The Weather

Being near the coast, this campsite can be subjected to extreme weather conditions. Very strong winds and torrential rain can occur at any time of year. You must ensure that your tent is robust and correctly erected. In some cases we may advise you to move to another pitch. Please note we do not provide a refund because the weather has not worked out, or is not to your liking. Extreme weather is covered in ‘Cancellations by Us’.
